| Falling Stars: Not Your Typical Teen Band-NJ kids looking for a label |

| Narrative |
| A long long time ago (2000) there was a battle of the bands at Caryn, Mikey, and Rup's high school. They we're all friends and all wanted to do the show, but unfortunately they couldn't because they weren't in band. Then the great idea struck them, hey! Why don't we be a band! And so Falling Stars was formed. Named that because a falling star is something that people are going to look at as special and remember seeing it for the rest of their lives, in this band all 3 members know how to play different instruments and do not limit themselves to just one genre, but rather try to play a bit of everything. They started out playing covers for shows in their high school and around town, and then started writing their own material. They were chosen out of hundred of band from both the us and canada to be on Kid Antrim's 2002 Rock compilation CD for a home recorded version of their punk hit "Anger Management", which was sent out to labels and stations all over the country, but unfotunately to no avail. Next they recorded their debut album Majestic Tranquility in June 2003 in a local studio. They were in there for 6 hours and managed to cut 7 great tracks of many genres. Next they were offered a bad deal with Americord Records for 1 of the tracks off the album, a rock balad called "Drip Into Me", that they had to say no. Plans to be played globally on Boombox Radio and to record their next album Running, Pacing, and Learning to Crawl schedualled to have 11 tracks, the band is siked. |
