Formed in 1997 in Ashland, Kentucky; The South of Heaven Band moved south in 2000 after signing a management agreement with Skydog Music of South Carolina. Since then, the band has opened shows for David Allan Coe, The Winters Brothers Band, and The Southern Rock Reunion.
