| Combining groove heavy rock beats with a soulful aggressive approach to songwriting, Exit 57 breaks the mold. With songs about life, Exit 57 is a refreshing distraction to all the faux acts of the time. Not concerned with all the glitter and glam, Exit 57 is pure substance! Listening to their music brings you back to when songs had meaning and passion.
In early 1997, Exit 57 was signed after their 3rd show, to Catatonic Records and immediately went into the studio for an eye awakening experience in the recording industry. Having recorded their first LP
"thinkbelievedreamdare", the band then went on to promote and landed on such stages as Westbury Music Fair, Webster Hall, CBGB's, Kenny's Castaways, Max Yasgur's Farm just to name a few.
Exit 57 and their music has been featured on News 12 Long Island and their music has also been featured on MTV's "Making of the Video" and "Undressed".
Currently, Exit 57 is recording the follow up to their first LP and it is due out early in 2003.
