| The lyrics are poetic, meaningful, and come deeply from the root in which feelings are triggered. Vocalist Jacob Addicott is backed by the melodic hard rock from the 4-piece band that matches meaning without words and soars from each amp and drum to connect the poetic rock of North Miami Beach's Red Sun Down.
Red Sun Down was formed originally as Undersound back around 1997 with guitarist Justin Sclafani, drummer Leor Manelis, and singer/lyricist Jacob Addicott.
As teenagers in their 15's and 16's they were deeply influenced by the grunge scene. However, as they matured, so did their music. Their song "Naive" got a pretty big buzz on the scene but shortly after vocalist/ lyricist Jacob moved away.
Now he is back and Red Sun Down was born with a whole new style.
Jacob was always influenced and still is by the mysteries of Jim Morrison from The Doors. While the whole band is open minded about different styles of music they connect to form their own sound.
After several bassists in the band, bassist Drew Harris was added to form and complete Red Sun Down. Establishing a following is their main goal since now opening up new on this scene. Red Sun Down has been burning in sessions for some time and is now ready to come out and show the scene something new.
