| My name is Rita Manyette I have a BA in Theatre from Jacksonville State University in Alabama. I am always working on my craft. I graduated College and married my husband, who I have been with for almost 9 years. I chose to move to Jacksonville instead of chase my dreams to New York. I'm very glad I did! I have a wonderful son and a strong marriage. I didn't have the carrier that I had always hoped for, but I am now trying to change that.
I have done 2 independent films in the last 3 months. "The Words Not" was shot in Miami and I was the lead. I loved the message this movie expressed about over weight people and the pressures of "Not Listening" to what other say. I recently wrapped the short "Wish" in Orlando. It is a dark look at a woman who wishes she could change her life at work. I play Jennifer. See it on ksfilms.net in late July '04! I have a great stage voice that has helped me with voice over work.
