Introducing the striking singer/songwriter Mandi Seekings. Mandi's voice is a fresh combination of today and yesterdays music's hottest influences. She has been described as a mixture of Sade and Mariah Carey, with the sophistication of Alicia Keys. In 2005, Mandi got in touch with accomplished producer Michael Vail Blum, and went to L.A. to his invite-only studio, to record an album with him. Michael has discovered and/or worked with Madonna, Anastacia, Jessica Simpson, Kelly Clarkson and the group 3T. Mandi got her feet wet in the industry, and got to hone her writing skills as well.
Mandi has since gained exposure for herself in her home of Hawaii. She is featured on numerous radio stations, and activly participates in local festivals, TV appearances, benfits, and fundraiser concerts. She even spoke at Career Day at a local Elementary School. Her 13 song debut album 'Mandi Seekings' was released December 5,2006, met with great reviews, and was nominated for Best R&B Album at the Na Hoku Hano Hano Awards a.k.a the Hawaiian Grammys.
More recently, Mandi started working with D.S.D Productions out of L.A. who have had platinum sucess with artists such as Hillary Duff, Lenny Kravitz, and Pink to name a few. Look forward to 5 brand new songs from Mandi and D.S.D Productions in November 2007. |
