| We are an unsigned rock band from Reynoldsburg, Ohio, a suburb of Columbus. We do all our own material, and play out around the Columbus area. Our influences include a vast array of music makers, making a list too long for this paragraph. But I could just say from Rush to Rage Against the Machine to Radiohead. We grew up together and have been playing in Verner Caliper for ten years. That time has allowed for us to form our distinct sound. Our music can be busy at times and catchy at others. You will always hear the sounds of andy clark and andy weisbarth, combining fitting rock riffs and busy bass lines, to their mesa amps, accompanying andy clark's unique and original voice stylings that surprisingly flow with the off the wall chord progressions. You will also hear jimmy weisbarth, our drummer who is not following any trends. He will keep you on your feet as well as impress you if you see us live. Our song writing style is not always traditional. We don't always follow the standard form. Verner Caliper is outside the box, original, hard, progressive, groovy, melodic, instrumental, rock. |
